Who am I? Good question. It took me a good 29-30 years to figure that out. Here’s what I’ve learned. I am a dreamer … constantly imagining my life looking forward, whether it be later in the day or 30 years from now. I believe in true love and I’ve found it. I love quotes and have them all over my house. I’m spontaneous. I’m passionate. I believe magical things happen at coffee shops; businesses start, new ideas are created, and friends new and old gather … I’d like to own one someday for those reasons. I love babies. I love getting lost in conversation and a bottle of wine with a good friend. I was meant to be a mother. I’m an extrovert. I smile a lot. I believe everyone should have a bucket list. I love making people happy. I pursued a dream and believe everyone should. I love food and eat a lot. I love music … and I feel like there is always a new song that happens to fit my life perfectly. I sing at the top of my lungs when I’m in the car alone. I am a hands on kind of girl and DIY’er … power tools, hardware stores, saws, holes in the wall … I can handle it. I’m obnoxiously frugal. I’m an optimist. I’m an artist. I follow my heart. I believe in happy endings.
I am also the mother to 3 (almost 4) amazing children, ages 8, 7 and 2. My hubby and I are both from Wisconsin and love our roots, we hope to settle down there for good someday soon. Our family of 6 (including our yellow lab) is on a crazy adventure … we live in Grenada, where my husband is a second year medical student at St. George University.
